Crédit Agricole CIB Appoints Ghislain Descamps Senior Country Officer for Canada

MONTRÉAL & TORONTO & NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Crédit Agricole CIB has appointed Ghislain Descamps as Senior Country Officer for Canada, effective March 2, 2022.

Mr. Descamps most recently led the Multinational Corporation Coverage Team in the Americas based in New York City since 2014. In that position, he contributed to the strategic growth of the MNC business, culture, and global franchise while also developing a renewable energy and distributed generation international and US client base.

Mr. Descamps was previously based in Lille, France, starting in 2011, where he was the Regional Managing Director for the northwest part of France within Crédit Agricole CIB’s Mid-Cap division. Prior to that, he was part of the MNC Coverage team in New York, beginning in 2007, after being a Mid-Cap Coverage banker at the branch in Lyon, France. Ghislain started his career in 1999 at Crédit Agricole Indosuez in GMD Sales.

Ghislain will be based in Montreal and will be part of the Americas Management Committee, reporting to Marc-André Poirier, Senior Regional Officer for the Americas.
